Ladder ball, also called ladder golf, top toss, bolo toss, and hillbilly golf, is played by tossing a bolo ball (piece of rope with golf balls or tennis balls at both ends) at the horizontal rungs of a game tower. Points are scored, usually one to three, when a bolo ball wraps around or hangs from one of the horizontal rungs of the tower. The first player or team to reach 21 points will win.
